Acely offers three plans: an annual plan at $49/month (billed as $588/year), a quarterly plan at $99/month (billed as $297/quarter), and a monthly plan at $149/month.
All three plans include full access to every feature, with no commitment required and the ability to cancel at any time. The annual plan is the most cost-effective option and the best fit for students who really want to improve their scores and are prepared to take the test at least twice (like the College Board and ACT recommend). This way they have Acely access throughout multiple test dates. Students can upload official exam scores to Acely to update their study plan for retests. Every plan also comes with a 3-day free trial.
Yes. Acely offers a 3-day free trial on all plans. A credit card is required to start the trial to verify identity and prevent duplicate accounts, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You can cancel immediately after signing up and will still have access to all paid features for the full 72 hours.
Every Acely plan covers both the SAT and ACT. Students who are undecided between the two exams can use Acely to try both without purchasing separate subscriptions. The platform includes 50 full-length digital practice tests (30 SAT and 20 ACT), a personalized adaptive study plan, and an AI tutor specialized for each test. Content for each exam is crafted by educators who specialize in that test.
You can cancel your Acely subscription at any time from your account settings. You will retain access to all paid features through the end of your current billing cycle. Acely does not issue partial or pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a subscription after cancellation, as it is a digital product with instant access.
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancel at least one business day before your next bill date. Cancellations may take up to 3 business days to process, and you will receive a confirmation email once complete.
For sophomores, we'd recommend our 12-month plan. This will give them the opportunity to see which test they perform better on. This will also give them access to Acely throughout multiple test dates, so it's easy to retest. Both the SAT and ACT have superscore opportunities, so if they have the opportunity to take them multiple times, they can get a great superscore.
For fall semester juniors, the annual plan would be the best fit. This gives them the opportunity to try both the SAT and ACT and see which test they perform better on, all while having access to Acely throughout multiple test dates. That means it will be easy to retest in the fall of their senior year if need be. This plan is also the best deal!
For spring semester juniors, the annual plan is still the best option because they will need Acely for at least 6-9 months, and the annual plan is more cost-effective than the monthly plan for that duration. If they haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet, we'd recommend they try out both to see which format and test they prefer and how their scores compare. If they have already taken one, it can be beneficial to stick to that test for the opportunity to superscore for the SAT / get a composite score for the ACT.
Most high school students begin SAT prep during the spring of their sophomore year or the summer before junior year. Starting early gives you enough time to build skills, take practice tests, and prepare for potential retakes.
Acely requires a credit card before starting the 72-hour (3-day) free trial so that we can verify student and parent identities and prevent spam and/or duplicate sign-ups. Users can immediately cancel their paid subscription in their account and will still have access to paid features for the remainder of the 72-hour trial period. Once the trial ends, access will switch to our free 'limited tier' plan. Our limited tier provides access to up to 100 questions in our question bank without hints, explanations, practice tests, or other paid features.
You may cancel your Acely subscription at any time to avoid renewal and you will retain access to the paid features through the end of your current billing cycle. As Acely is a digital product that is instantly accessible, there are no partial or pro-rated refunds issued for unused portions of the subscription duration, following cancellation. Please see our Terms for more details.
To avoid charges to the payment information on file for the upcoming billing period, you must cancel your subscription at least one (1) business day before the next bill date. For our team to begin to process a cancellation, we require that customers complete the steps below:
1. Log in to Acely and navigate to Your Account under your user profile in the bottom left-hand corner.
2. On this page, find the Manage Billing section and follow the prompts to cancel.
3. Please note that your cancellation request may take up to 3 business days to reflect in your account once submitted, and you will receive a confirmation email from support@acely.com once the cancellation is fully processed.
