Because KCC is test-optional, use this timeline only if you plan to submit scores: take your first SAT or ACT by the spring of junior year, then save the summer before senior year and the fall for retakes if superscoring could help. KCC does not offer Early Decision or Early Action, so the last useful fall retake is the one whose scores will arrive before its Regular Decision deadline; do not use the June 1 financial aid priority deadline to plan testing.
