Because Smith Chason is test-optional, follow this plan only if you want to submit SAT or ACT scores. Take your first exam by the spring of junior year, then use the summer before senior year and the fall of senior year for retakes that could improve your superscore. For the final fall retake, choose the latest SAT or ACT date whose scores are scheduled to arrive before Smith Chason’s earliest application deadline.
