Your initial plan is built from three inputs: your target test date, your baseline score, and your target score. As you complete practice questions and tests, Acely tracks which specific skills and question types are costing you points and automatically shifts your plan to prioritize those areas. Every question you study is pulled from Acely's educator-crafted question bank, so you can trust what you're studying.

If you meet the eligibility requirements, which include following your study plan and completing a set amount of practice, and you don't improve by 200+ points on the SAT or 5+ points on the ACT within your qualifying study period, Acely refunds 100% of the subscription fees paid during that period. Full details, including eligibility requirements, are on the score guarantee page.

Acely combines the best of both without the limitations of either. Like a great tutor, it builds a study plan around your strengths, weak spots, and test date. Like a great prep book, it gives you a huge library of true-to-the-test questions and full-length exams. Unlike either, it adapts automatically as you improve, and it costs a fraction of what private tutoring runs per hour.

Acely offers 15,000+ practice questions and 50 full-length tests across the SAT and ACT (30 SAT, 20 ACT). Acely also includes 4,000 PSAT questions and 10 full-length PSAT practice tests.

Every question and explanation on Acely is written by educators with deep expertise in the SAT and ACT, then reviewed and verified before it goes into the platform. The library currently includes more than 15,000 expert-crafted questions across all tested subjects. Explanations are written to teach the underlying concept, not just explain why one answer is correct, so students build transferable skills rather than pattern-matching on specific question formats.

Yes. Acely offers full preparation for both the Digital SAT and the Enhanced ACT, each with its own dedicated study plan, question bank, and full-length practice tests, since the two exams test different skills in different formats. If you're undecided, you can take a diagnostic for both to see where your strengths lie. You then have access to both tests within your subscription, so you can study for both or change which one you're focusing on at any time.

Acely's tutor is available any time you're stuck on a question and want more depth. Unlike standalone AI chatbots, it works directly within Acely's educator-built content: explanations are grounded in the same verified question library that powers your study plan, not generated independently by a general-purpose model. That matters because test prep explanations need to reflect how the SAT and ACT actually reward and penalize specific reasoning, which takes content built by people who know the tests.
